Project Purpose: This funding will support the Victim Advocacy Program, which provides comprehensive legal services to low-income survivors of crime with disabilities across the state. The primary activities of the project are to provide legal representation in civil court pertaining to family law matters, criminal court pertaining to victims’ rights, probate court pertaining to guardianship, administrative hearings pertaining to special education matters, and immigration proceedings pertaining to the filing of humanitarian visas based on experiencing or witnessing violence.
