WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Tammy Baldwin and Ron Johnson announced today their agreement to recommend to the White House four candidates for consideration to serve on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, where Judge William C. Griesbach is retiring.
The candidates, Krista Ann Halla-Valdes, Tammy Jo Hock, William S. Pocan, and Thomas J. Walsh, were recommended to the Senators by the bipartisan Wisconsin Federal Nominating Commission that has been established to provide recommendations for nominations during the 117th Congress for federal judicial positions and United States Attorneys.
