WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Senators Tammy Baldwin and Ron Johnson announced on Tuesday their agreement to recommend to the White House three Wisconsinites for consideration to be U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
The candidates, John Franke, Jonathan Koenig and Matthew Krueger, were among those recommended by a bipartisan federal nominating commission that the Wisconsin senators established in April 2013 to move federal nominations forward, including nominations to vacant federal judgeships in Wisconsin.
